Actaully has been a year since I updated ...wow I'm pretty bad at this, but anyway an update, I'm still working in Oxfordshire and really enjoying it still, made some good work friends and still get to see my regular crew often which makes me happy. So plans for this year....there's a lot of them XD, with Kitacon only 2 days away and me viewing it as the kick off to the 2013 cosplay season here are my plans below.

That's a whole lot of plans but looking forward to getting to work on them, aiming to upload some more pictures soon!

Good grief it's been a while and so many plans and so little time. So this entry is just going to be an update about whats going on in life in general and then the plans of this year and how progress is going on them, goodness knows I need to sit down and structure everything XD

So I've moved away from home, shocking I know, Norwich is now far away and I am dwelling by my lonesome in Oxfordshire, which currently seems very nice, I'll give it a few more weeks before giving a final verdict XD.

In regards to cosplay, this is going to be one busy year with multiple projects some of which dont even have events but what the heck they're getting made anyway.

Another Alcon has come and gone and it's finally time for my post con blog, I think deviantart has it out for me blogging as the last few times I've attempted to sit down and write it, it's decided to crash XD.

Mind you procrastination hasn't helped I'm speaking 24 hours after writing the above sentance cause I got distracted but I will provail so here is my 2012 Alcon blog...'suck it up girl and write this damn thing XD'

So I travelled up on thursday where I met with the ever wondrous sparrowhawk51 and xRosiex81 on the train and many hugs were exchanged, many as they were promised due to previous night sewing stress but they were gladly given, we then were reunited with flawlesscheese who also had hugs both Jess and I managed to get in the wrong door to the train though whilst Jess because I sent her to the wrong door,I had no excuse XD.

So we arrived in Leicester and met up with BladeyCakes Rainbow-Spex Jae3 and Nyx-XIII and travelled to the convention where we were reunited with Nobara-Firion and AQuietRiot and checked into our rooms which Jim and I had named the Bunny Bunker in honor of the fact that both of us cosplay Bunny.

So today's cosplay was Takagi from Bakuman and it was so good to finally get to wear this cosplay, he's been on my list for about 2 years and to finally get him done felt so good, I'll wear him again once day and hopefully some peeps might join me in the gloriousness that is Bakuman cosplay XD, we skipped the opening ceremony to take some pics and have a catch up in the park and then for the party I got changed into some casual cLothes and went as Masato to join my Ren for some party funtime, had a reasonably early night in prep for friday.

So Friday's cosplay was Yoite from Nabari no Ou with Lu and Rosie as Raikou and Gau and it was great to see these guys out again, the last time I cosplayED Yoite was back in 2009 o.0 I went to the Little Kuriboh panel which was hilarious, I'm not a huge fan of Yu-Gi-Oh Abriged but this guys is amazingly funny XD. In the afternoon I got changed into Natsuki from Uta No Prince-Sama to hang out with Nobara who was dressed as Syo we had a photoshoot along with Lu and Rosie who were dressed in adventure time cosplay (Finn and Fiona were so awesomely cute!) and looked amazing!! and Hannah and Dando who were dressed as Loki and Thor ( my inner fangirl fainted on site).

Saturday was another Uta day for me and I got dressed as Masato in his Starish outfit before meeting up with Rosie and Lu who were dressed as Rory and Reed form Teahouse was one of the most colourful meetings of all time XD, and then we went to watch the cosplay masquarade, so many amazing cosplays.....AND DANDO AND HANNAH WON!! The video that I took mostly had all of our screams drowning out the rest of the soundtrack XD For the evening I got changed into Hawkeye, twas fun to carry a bow around and finally come face to face with the Boss-man it was a beautiful slow motion run moment where I almost got run over XD. Went to see the FDP Kingdom Bros Panel and it was brilliant winnie the pooh will haunt my dreams -___-. Finally got to try out the big slide and it was amazing fun and then we ended up at the party taking a brief bit of time out for family photos in the bathroom (oh you guys XD) The rest of the party is seen beautifully through a large amount of derp photos.

Finally the last day today's cosplay was Mami from Puella and it felt weird being so girly XD went to see the Little Kuriboh second panel and honestly his version of star wars whilst drunk was beautiful XD. Stayed after to watch the Parle Avengers Panel which was also awesome ^^. Grabbed a spot of lunch before having a nice walk by the river and ending up doing Mitchell and Webb skits in the flower bed XD. In the evening thanks to a very kind lending form Lu I cosplayed Finn from Adventure Time and much partying was had the last night party was my favourite and they ended on Bohemian Rhaposedy whilst we all rocked out on inflatable guitars.

So i think that's all I had a truly epic time thanks to everyone who made it such a epically special time. BEST ALCON EVER!!!

So with two weeks to go tomorrow my final Alcon Plans are in, progress is going well, I believe I now have everything that in need to make all of the cosplays that I have planned and I've got 3 plans done already ^^. So without further ado here is the final list.

... So much Uta No Prince Sama XD. Well so far Mami, Yoite and Poster Masato are all done, next project will either be Natsuki or Masato depending on how quickly stuff for Masato arrives. So very much looking forward to Alcon can't wait to see everyone there ^_^

So i thought it had been a while since i updated so here's a bit of a blog before I go on Holiday on Wednesday (America here I come!!!) So I didn't attend LFCC in the end, this was due to my sister entering a bakery contest on the same day and asked if I'd come with (random excuse is random) anyway she did really well and won 6 1sts and got two trophies. also I had graduation this week, very strange to think that my university life is done with and that I no longer have to worry about those exams again...

So onto the cosplay update, well currently I'm preparing for Alcon 2012, accommodation is all sorted and I shall be rooming with the magnificient Rainbow-Spex which I'm really looking forward too ^_^. I've almost completed work on Mami from Puella Magi Madoka Magica....I have never made a skirt before and needless to say what I've created is probably one of the most hideous things I've ever seen XD. The corset is also done, just have to alter some lace on it, that leaves the shirt, gloves, sleeves, boots, hat, socks, hair and hair pieces to get done before Wednesday...TT_TT

Several of my other plans are going well, Yoite has most of his parts sorted with just one or two still to get, I have everything I need to make Takagi just have to suck it up an alter the jacket that I originally bought for him and made the mistake of weraing it often in everyday life, thus growing attached to it. Natsuki also has all the fabric ready to go thanks to a generous fabric donation from flawlesscheese

So on Wednesday I'll be flying off to America for a three week road trip starting in new York and then going to a few places in the north east of America including Niagara Falls (where I will ninja over to Canada and see if my parents realize), Boston, Washington DC and upon request and through a bit of begging CEDAR POINT!!! I have a weakness for Rollercoasters, I mean who doesn't love going 420ft in the air at 120mph XD

So I'll most likely blog when I get back and I'll update too what my final Alcon Plans will be ^_^ Enjoy!
